Journey's End was started as a sanctuary for unwanted, abandoned, and disabled animals many years ago.  And it was that safe place for many years.  There was also a time when Journey's End became a place with too many animals for all of them to be properly taken care of.  We now have a manageable number of animals that are well taken care of, thanks to our gracious donors.

Journey's End has always been a sanctuary where animals can live out their lives, which is the reason we don't have space for new animals on a regular basis.  We don't have turnover from adoptions like a rescue or shelter does.

For the first time ever, we do have a few cats up for adoption, with the intention to accept more animals in the future. 

 

When we are in a position to receive more animals, intakes will be done on a case by case basis, although preference will be given to senior animals.
